Studio Reentry: New Work in Progress
In addition to my work as a creative consultant, I maintain an ongoing studio practice—one that’s as much about discovery as it is about making.
After a much-needed creative pause, I’ve returned to the studio—exploring new media and rethinking subject, scale, and technique. I’m starting small and gradually moving into larger formats, experimenting with monoprints, sandpaper erasure, and layering over vintage prints..
deeply influenced me—Serra, Marden, and Ryman—remind me that material, surface, and gesture can carry meaning on their own. I’m learning to leave space for the unexpected—to let imagination shape what the work wants to become
The current series, The Secretan Collection, involves overprinting on vintage book pages—editing, revealing, and obscuring fragments of text through layers of ink and abrasion.
